Have been in the South Indian Playback singing industry for the last 20years. Have sung more than 1000 songs in tamil, telugu, malayalam & Kannada films. Won the Tamil Nadu state award for the best male playback singer for the song "Sollitalae Ava Kadhale" from the movie Kumki in 2012. Is the co-founder of "The Pallikoodam" - an online digital school for fine arts.
Their first product "PAATU CLASS" is out now where Ranjith shares his experience with aspiring singers helping them explore & deepen their experience in the art of singing.
Is also a member of the south Indian band MAKKA where he enjoys his time touring, performing & exploring independent music along with friends & band members Aalaap Raju & Rahul Nambiar.
