Tusharr Kumar is Executive Vice President at OML, a new media and entertainment company that partners with creators and platforms that participate in culture. In his current role, he oversees all of OML’s Branded content business and is working on OML Influencer marketing tool.
Tusharr started his career in FMCG marketing back in 2010 working on the iconic Frooti brand at Parle Agro. While working here, he attended the NH7 Weekender music festival for the first time and was hooked. Soon after, he joined OML in 2012, as Marketing Manager working on live IP’s and bespoke branded content projects. From 2012-15 at OML, he wore multiple hats working in marketing, media buying, PR and ticketing strategies.
Being a passionate motorcyclist, he couldn't toss up the opportunity to join the core start-up team that launched the Italian luxury motorcycle brand Ducati in India, in 2015. Leading the Marketing & PR efforts for the Brand he planned and rolled out the go-to market strategy for the Ducati in India. Along with all the product launches he also spearheaded the Influencer engagement initiatives for the brand. Around this time is when he started developing a keen interest on the impact branded content and influencer marketing drove. This interest was further cemented while at his next role at Royal Enfield, where he led marketing activation.
In 2018, Tusharr headed back to OML to grown and build the branded content business.
Tusharr lives in Bangalore, and when he’s not out riding his motorcycle or planning the next festival to head to, he spends his time binging on political news.
