track record in conceiving & implementing ideas that fuel market place
presence & deliver business impact. His forte lies in driving brands &
businesses in diverse product life-stages and in varied competitive
positions.
As Vice President - Head VYRL Originals, Catalog & OTT at Universal
Music, Gaurav is responsible for the overall P&L and artist & content
strategy for India’s leading non-film label VYRL Originals. He also leads
UMI’s Catalog & OTT verticals.
A veteran in the fast paced & constantly evolving Media & Entertainment
industry, his expertise spans managing brands across televised
entertainment & sport, film marketing, soundtrack rights acquisition &
licensing, music marketing, artist & content strategy.
Prior to Universal, Gaurav has worked with Star India, Sony Music,
Percept Picture Company and Zee Entertainment.
