Indi Chawla is Head of International Relations for The MLC. Based in London, Indi is responsible for coordinating with international rightsholders to maximize the distribution of royalties, developing strategies for data validation and distribution, and helping to identify and address any operational challenges facing international Members.

Indi’s profound impact within the international music publishing industry spans nearly three decades. Indi began her music industry career as a Royalty Assistant marking the start of a career trajectory that propelled her to senior management positions in major and independent publishing companies. Notably, Indi's tenure as the leader of Warner Chappell's Global Copyright Team in London spanned close to a decade. As the Global Copyright Manager, she implemented highly efficient and standardized registration practices across the company's extensive network. Her determination and dedication were instrumental in successfully launching their first enhanced rights management system module, cementing her reputation as a visionary leader in the field.

Most recently, Indi consulted for the world's first integrated licensing and processing hub ICE and continues to contribute to international industry working groups with the aim of developing industry best practices around the management of music publishing data.
