Nilesh is an accomplished sound engineer and academic with over 20 years of experience in music, media, and higher education. Previously, he served as the head of academics at the International College of Music in Kuala Lumpur, where he collaborated with prestigious institutions like the University of Westminster (UK), University of Wolverhampton (UK), University of Hertfordshire (UK), and Berklee College of Music, Boston, to deliver quality undergraduate courses in music performance, production, business, and sound engineering.
Nilesh is well-versed in aligning curricula with educational frameworks like the Malaysian Qualifications Framework, British QAA Framework, and India's National Skills Qualifications Framework. He played a pivotal role in developing India's first National Occupational Standards in Music for roles like Music Programmer, Producer, and Composer/Director, adopted by the National Skill Development Corporation and the Media and Entertainment Skills Council.
Nilesh holds certifications as a Master Trainer for Sound Engineering, an Apple Distinguished Educator, and an Avid Certified Instructor. He's actively involved in the International Society of Music Educators (ISME) as a committee member. Nilesh earned his master's degree in Music Technology from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and an undergraduate degree in Electronics.
