Following the completion of his Bachelor of Electronics from Chennai, Ram relocated to the US to pursue Master's degrees in Music Composition and Sound Design from NYU and Los Angeles, respectively. His professional journey began as a composer for radio jingles, but he quickly found measured success, and subsequent interest from tastemakers in Hollywood. Ram had the privilege of collaborating with Remote Control Productions (Hans Zimmer), Cutting Edge Group, Ramin Djawdi (Game of Thrones), Cliff Martinez, Mali Elfman, Native instruments, Output Inc. and Apple, inc.
Though his career began in the US, Ram leapt at the opportunity to return to his roots and join the global streaming giant Netflix, acting as a Studio Executive and Heading The Music Creative and Produciton Vertical supporting their endeavors into Indian Original Content.
