Soumini Sridhara Paul is Vice President of the Talent and Independent Content platform, Hungama Artist Aloud (Hungama Digital Media Ent. Pvt. Ltd.). Launched in January 2010, Soumini has spearheaded the set-up of Artist Aloud, South Asia’s premier digital platform for established and new talent with independent audio and video content along with a dedicated team. She is also Head of Operations and Content Development for Kids and other channels on YouTube and Special Content Creation and Event IP projects for Hungama. One of her pet projects is the destination she is building along with a wonderful team for Hungama Kids creating content that is age-appropriate, entertaining, and educational. She has over 20 years’ experience as a Pop Artist, Artist Manager as well as assignments with Channel [V] including Bollywood, Independent, and International talent, and Universal Music including album launches and promotions and artist relations. As a hobby, Soumini has been dabbling into writing for the last 5 years and Disha The Challenge is her first ever-published work through Partridge. She started her artistic stint as a singer almost 25 years back but chose to work in other aspects of the industry to build something that would change the face of Talent and Independent Content Space.
