Sovan Lal Saha graduated from two of Calcutta’s most prestigious institutions, St. Xaviers’ Collegiate School, Calcutta and St. Xaviers’ College, Calcutta. Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant. He, however, chose to join his Family Music Business – Hindusthan Musical Products Ltd.(now Hindusthan Music Publishing (P) Ltd. in June 1970. He set up The Indian Record Mfg. Co. Ltd. (Now INRECO Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.) in August 1976 and has been associated with these Companies since. He is the Managing Director of both the Companies. Apart from running his business, he has been active on issues relating to the Music Industry.
